Welcome to The Hartwell Players, Melbourne's oldest community theatre company. The company began in 1938, and is still going strong. Read All About Hartwell to find out more about how it all started. We produce four shows a year: a pantomime or children's show in the January school holidays; a Shakespeare show; a series of one-act plays; and a full length production.

THE REAL STORY OF PUSS IN BOOTS

Hartwell's summer show is now closed. Magic was in the air, as childhood classics Cinderella and Puss In Boots came together live on stage. Rich with colour and music, this vibrant play entertained the whole family.

The Real Story of Puss in Boots was directed by Joanne Watt and featured new music composed by Lachlan Davidson.

See the Puss in Boots page for more information.
